Whether you are fishing on the road system or off, Salty Fly Safaris will take you to the best fishing holes around Kodiak Island!

Do you dream of experiencing the majestic wonders of the "Emerald Island" of Kodiak Alaska? Do you love adventure riding in a UTV thru rough trails and into the Alaska wild? We guide you to Saltery River and take you on a fishing trip for sockeye or coho salmon.  During most trips, we can also catch Dolly varden trout or an occasional Rainbow.  From mid July on, we also catch Pinks and Chum.  View spectacular scenery and often encounter abundant wildlife, such as bears, deer, and fox.  Bald Eagles are common.

Fishing to Saltery

Our most popular! We meet you at the American River trailhead at 7 am, and transit to Saltery River which takes approx 2 hours...

This service is customizable and price is negotiable. Several rivers and lakes can be accommodated.

Rates

Our rates are based on a per person basis. We do not take single person charters. We will try to fit you in with another group when you book singles. See services for rate schedule. We can book custom charters at going rates.
